They gave me a fair priced quote over the phone, towed me to their facility, and fixed my car in one day with a one year warranty. After having a horrible experience with Tire Kingdom, they were a breath of fresh air. Thank you -2000 Jeep Wrangler clutch master/slave and throwback bearing.
I was intending to send you a thank you email for your great service. Twice I have had a problem with my Jag and twice you have fixed it without any delay, telling me my options and costs up front. Having a car fixed is never pleasant but you make it as painless as possible. I hope not to have any more car troubles ever, but if I do I will be on your door step once more
Both Sam and Sammy were phenomenal and took great care of my car. It’s driving great, the pricing was very fair, and the work appears to have been expertly performed. There was an unexpected delay in getting one of the parts, which was outside of their control and caused the repair to take about two weeks instead of the initially estimated four days. My only real criticism was the communication regarding the timeline. I felt like I was getting a “maybe tomorrow” answer more often than I would have liked. Once they knew there was a delay with their vendor, I would have preferred a more realistic estimate of when the repair would actually be completed. Because I didn’t have a firm timeline, I had to keep calling the rental car company and extending the rental on a daily basis, which added to the overall expense. That said, I understand that vendor delays happen, and I don’t fault Sam, Sammy, or the shop for the delay itself. The actual service and customer care were excellent. Overall, I would confidently recommend this AAMCO Clearwater location to anyone experiencing transmission problems.
I went in to get an estimate for a transmission rebuild for my GMC. The gentleman was friendly and helpful. The quote was fair and I will be scheduling with them soon. I have done business with this shop many times through the years working at various shops as a service advisor and have always been satisfied with their services.

I highly recommend AAMCO! I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. They were professional, honest, knowledgeable, and kept me informed about what was going on with my vehicle. They took the time to explain everything to me and made sure the job was done right. Finding someone you can trust with a major repair like a transmission isn’t always easy, but they definitely earned my trust. My vehicle is running great, and I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and quality work. If you’re having transmission problems, I definitely recommend giving AAMCO a try.
